HOW TO CALCULATE THE AMOUNT OF CONCRETE OR SCREED YOU NEED

All you need to do is calculate the volume in cubic metres.
You will need to know:

Depth in metres
Length in metres
Width in metres

Then simply multiply the numbers together: (DxLxW)

Note that the numbers must be in metres, so 30cm will be entered as 0.30, 150cm will be entered at 1.5.

HOW YOU ARE CHARGED

You will only be charged for what is delivered, there are no part load charges, so if you order 5m3, but only take 4m3, that’s all you’ll pay for. Our vehicles hold up to 12m3, so if you do need more it won’t be a problem. If you want more than 12m3 we can always make more than one delivery.
           
The charges are on a sliding scale, so the more you have the cheaper the price per m3 gets, so for example if you have 5m3 the price per cubic metre will be less than if you only take 4m3.

Please be aware that you have 20 minutes per cubic metre, up to a maximum of 1.5 hours to off load the concrete or screed. If loading into wheel barrows we would recommend you have a team of people to help you, otherwise you may incur additional waiting time. We can however, drop the load on a polythene sheet, or in a skip, so you can barrow it in your own time.

The vehicles have a 5 metre auger (chute) which may help with loading the barrows, or may even enable the driver to make a direct pour.

All our deliveries are scheduled within a 2 hour slot, and you will be called when the driver is en-route to you.

We take cash, credit or debit cards. Cheque's are not accepted.

Our concrete is freshly mixed onsite, and you can change the slump (wetness/dryness) of the mix on the fly, you can also change the strength of the mix if you require, and add additives but this will affect the cost.

If there any access restrictions, we sometimes have smaller vehicles that can carry loads of 6m3. If you are in doubt about whether we can deliver to you then tell us the dimensions of your site and we can advise you.

Dimensions of a mobile batching plant are for access purposed are: 4m high x 12m long x 3m wide, and they weight approximately 44 tons when fully loaded.
